Serie of transparent marbles. Each one contains menstrual blood suspended in epoxy resin. Each one represents an egg. Over the course of a menstruating body’s fertile life, between 400 and 500 eggs mature. Each menstrual cycle uses one.

 

Fertility clinics have spent decades turning eggs into market value, putting a price on our bodies’ reproductive potential. These pieces expand upon that logic and subvert it, emphasising that the value of menstrual blood goes far beyond the reproductive. Reminding us that there are other ways to endure.

This piece formed part of the Liquid Skin exhibition curated by Romana Stehling at C/off Space in Munich, where it was displayed alongside works by Janna Jirkova in February 2026. In June 2026 was presented at the OpenLab Artist Session Sandra x Jasmine: for the Human-in-the-loop project in the ballet studio at the Bavarian State Opera. It was also exhibited in the solo exhibition Feminine Hygiene at the Rezeptfrei Off Space also in Munich, accompanied by a text curated by Monica Hirano.
